We are One

Global Vision

I never ask of others what I am not willing to do.  So here we go…How do you see yourself living in 15 yrs?  I mean the day to day routine, where you live, the car you drive, the technology surrounding you, etc., etc.

OK, so if I am still around, the world I live in totally supports me.  The place I live is alive with Nature, surrounding all the homes and businesses too.   Grass grows on roof tops, trees line the streets, and parks are in walking distance from every home including mine.  Water elements, either natural or man-made grace every community in some way.  The tall buildings downtown have plants either on top or on the sides to bring precious oxygen to our cities and help cool the hot surfaces while tempering the temps inside the buildings.  Solar windows collect precious sunlight to power all needed operations of the buildings downtown and for those of smaller scale like our homes solar panels are installed on roofs, or if on the grid the grid itself is powered by a collection of renewable energies, solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydrogen fuel cell.

Technology is now embedded in all the things we use every day to make them more responsive to our needs and more useful.  Recyclable materials are used in every device available now, so there is no more trash, only recycling.  The need for mining has been reduced by half and fossil fuel is no longer used except in manufacturing and a few hold out devices, nostalgic cars, and old ships.  Cars now use hybrid electric/hydrogen systems which recharge themselves, never needing to be plugged in and only yearly maintenance.  Some people own their cars, but many use car sharing or public transport.  The suburbs are no longer what they used to be and have been converted to small towns and centralized communities grouped around the larger city with open agricultural space still in use outside these areas, although many of the veggies are grown in high rise greenhouses right in the city.

Computers are integrated and connecting all aspects of life.  Cellphones now come in two types, the smart phone/mini-computer or the tiny phone which plugs into your ear and works by voice activation.  The cell tower system is now integrated into one big network with the banning of corporate profiteering so reception is no longer an issue, no matter where you live or travel.

Travel is now much easier as border restrictions are no longer in place and passports are a means of tracking a person’s travel and not as a means of restriction.  Visas are no longer required for any country because the United Nations now runs governing operations for the entire world.  Cooperation between regional areas has taken precedence as the border definitions between nations blur.

Oneness as a concept and philosophy has now become reality and happened quite rapidly once the power elite came to realize the benefit it offered everyone.  It was in fact the “everyone” who made it all possible.  The commoner realized there was no difference between the leaders, the workers, and everyone in between.  They demanded and supported the union of world leadership.  The era of “us vs. them” ended with little fanfare.

Renewable Energy Only

In a Love Based Economy/Society (LBE) we utilize renewable energy sources only.  Energy is free and abundant in a LBE because each individual realizes that everything is energy.  Money is no longer necessary because it is simply a middle man or motivator if you will.  In a LBE, Love is the motivator there is no need for tokens.

In a LBE no one ever uses more energy than they need at any one time.  The days of having every light and appliance running in the house at the same time is over because each person is operating from Love and an honest care for their fellow beings.  Efficiency is taken as a matter of respect for life and responsibility is as natural as being aware of the impact your actions.

Energy is now created at the point of need so the need for power lines strung all over the place is gone, meaning the beauty of the landscape has returned.  Since renewable energy is the only form energy takes now, many systems are utilized depending on the available resources in a certain area.  Zero point generators and many other systems are in place so that each device being used comes with its own power source built right in.  No more power lines, just a simple device providing all the energy needed for that locale.   Please see this website for more info, http://www.panacea-bocaf.org/zeropointenergy.htm.

Energy like everything else in a LBE is available to everyone equally, and more importantly free will is respected.  Now that Love energy is predominant in society love is expressed by everyone in all situations.  Even if something unloving manifests it is seen as temporary and allowed to pass without drama.  The less energy given to it, the less likely it is to persist.  What you resist persists!

Society transformed to a Love based system once the previous fear based society was allowed to pass.  The people finally woke up and saw just how unnatural a fear based system is and how much energy is required to maintain it.  Love is a natural state and requires little energy to manifest, however it does require a certain awareness, acceptance, openness, and trust to operate from.  It is like slipping into a warm stream and swimming in the gentle waters of Great Spirits flowing Love.  Once in the flow it is not necessary to leave and in fact you will be inviting everyone you know to join you.  May the flow be with you.

Sustainable Living

As part of the series on a Love Based Economy, I focus today on the loving actions we can take right now with the homes we live in.  Technology is enhancing our lives in so many ways, why not use it to re-integrated our lives into nature?

Imagine living with nature without any fear.  What if as a society we could get back into harmony with nature to the point where our homes were built in consideration of the native animals and wildlife.  I am talking about a home that not only keeps you dry, warm, and comfortable, but also is open to the outside world.  It is constructed of recyclable materials that are not harmful to nature.  If you walked away from your home and allowed it to decay over 100 years, nothing toxic would get into the soil, water, or air.

This home is powered with renewable energy and constructed with conservation in mind.  Waste water is recycled by separating the toilets to a septic system that composts the waste into fertilizer for the garden.  Gray water from the sinks, dishwasher, and washing machine are used to water the lawn and garden.  Rainwater from the roof is channeled to a cistern for storage and is filtered before being used for washing dishes, clothes and bathing.  Drinking water would come from another source or would be purified in a stricter process.

The home is built to harness nature in as many ways as possible including, passive solar heating, cooling towers and landscaping.  The home would have back-up systems in case of drought or electrical failure.  The less the home relied on electricity the better, but could still support modern day luxuries such as TV, Computer, Audio system, high efficiency lighting, heating and cooling system.

The home would fit into the natural surroundings and encourage engagement with the outdoors.  Depending on the location, there are many ways to do this.  Coming from a place of Love is key to making it work.

The amount of forethought that went into a home like this would be considerable, but the payoff would be worth it!  Consider the possibilities if a system could be developed to create sustainable neighborhoods!  Imagine localized green power distribution, community gardens, gathering centers and recreation areas for each grouping of homes.

Imagine a world that was not afraid of nature but embraced it as a part of life, where children were taught the wonders of life, how to love and respect it, not what to fear, or stay away from.  Animals can sense fear from those around them, so if everyone could come from a place of love, respect and compassion while focusing on harmony, we could all live joyfully as one great community.

The research has been going on now for many years and all that I speak of is available now!  Many are already living this way!  It is simply a choice to integrate these ideas into the mainstream and expand them to include all new construction, while encouraging existing homeowners to convert what they can to higher efficiency systems.

Our grandchildren deserve this as do our animal friends!

New Energy Paradigm

Transition involves change, but is more than a simple change.  It is a shift from one paradigm to another. Changing shoes is quite different than transitioning to a new home or a new energy paradigm.  The world is undergoing a major transition now which has many aspects.  The one aspect we are looking at today is Energy.  Our energy paradigm or ideal system has been based on fossil fuels for the past 300 years or so and the time has come to shift our consciousness in a new direction.

Renewable energy is the term I prefer because we need energy that not only is plentiful, but does minimal damage to our Mother Earth and will not run out.  The earth does have a good energy source in the molten core of this rock we live on.  Geothermal is a great source of energy and I know this first hand as I spent an entire three day weekend in a community in Alaska that runs entirely on geothermal.  For more on this site go to, Chena Hot Springs.  To say I was impressed with Chena would be an understatement!

Most of us have seen the huge wind turbines emerging all over the USA.  When I lived in Maui they constructed a dozen or so wind turbines they are supplementing the oil power plant that supplies energy to the island.  This process is one of attrition and will be occurring slowly over the next 50 years or more.  The shift to renewable energy began with the industrial revolution.  In 1839 Alexandre Edmond Becquerel discovered the photovoltaic effect.  Wind power has been in use for several millennia in china and other countries around the world.  With the advent of electrical power it did not take long before it was figured out how to produce energy from a windmill.  The slower development is the battery technology to make them practical which is finally getting to the level we need.

Energy sources are being developed all the time and recently we have seen a large movement around the globe that is accepting the simple fact that in order for earth to survive we must stop using oil and fossil fuels.  The oil crises of 1973 set the stage for this change in the USA.  President Carter implemented rebates for solar energy in 1979 and we had another surge toward change.  More recently we have seen volatile changes in oil supply and the effects of dependence on oil.  The spill in the Gulf of Mexico is a loud signal that we have an energy crisis in the world and need to put all our efforts into shifting to renewable energy.  The power regimes of the past are failing and smaller more diverse companies are emerging as contributors to the new energy paradigm.  It is our responsibility to participate in this transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

If you do an internet search for renewable energy or simply read some of the articles I have linked here on this blog you will get an idea about what is available.  Certain areas are better equipped for solar and for wind, however there is some form of renewable energy available everywhere.  The Tennessee Valley Authority has been using hydroelectric energy for decades, and China just installed the largest dam in the world to produce hydroelectric for its growing population.

Consumers run this economy by the demand they have for products.  We really do have more power than most understand.  Your available choices to buy energy from a company that supplies renewable energy is growing every day.  Some companies are offering an exchange program where they will install solar panels to your roof and allow you to use the energy while they take the left over.  Look for new programs in your area and if they are not available then make phone calls and send letters to your energy provider.

Cars are surprisingly a small part of the greater issue but they too are part of the solution, so please demand cars that get 40+ miles per gallon.  We have them now and it is possible to have cars that get 60-80 mpg, necessity is the mother of invention.  Recycle your old cars, update your appliances, and do an energy overhaul to your home.  There are so many ways we each can contribute to the thriving of our planet by taking simple small steps leading up to giant leaps.  This is jump time so be prepared!
